What Is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

CBT helps you manage your problems by altering the way you think and behave. It is most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, as well as  other mental and physical health difficulties.

The CBT meaning is based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are all connected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. It aims to help you break this cycle and improve your difficulties as a result.
